NAIC_August_2019_Sweat at Fourth Annual Advanced SomaVeda Retreat

Native American Indigenous Church Ceremony NAIC Sacred Sweat Lodge Ceremony August 10, 2019 NAIC Indigenous Tribal Organization Sacred Sweat Lodge Ceremony NAIC hosted the August 10th, 2019 Sacred Sweat Lodge, healing, cleansing and purification ceremony for NAIC members and ministers of religious therapeutics during the Fourth Annual Advanced and Teachers Retreat fro SomaVeda Integrated Traditional Therapies. Practitioners and teachers from around the US attended the four day intensive. Attendees worked together to rebuild the Sacred Lodge which had been damaged by Hurricane Maria last winter! NAIC Medicine Man Dr. Anthony B. James and Medicine Women Dr. Julie James supervised the building and then ran the lodge according to NAIC Traditions i.e. pouring water and pulling stones! Big thanks to everyone for rebuilding the lodge to make it once more available for ceremony for our community. Monthly Sweats are now planned for the balance of the year.
